Along with being the vice-president of Pachamama's Path, Rene is also a founding parent of the Kusi Kawsay Andean School and a board member of the Educational Association Kusi Kawsay.  He currently works as the school as the Administrator.  Rene is an archeologist and  a professional musician and plays with the music group: Wiñay Taki Ayllu.  He has participated in numerous national and international indigenous gatherings where he shares his deep rooted knowledge of Andean culture and tradition through music and dance.
