Marina holds a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Master’s in Humanitarian Action.  She dedicates her energy to the rights of Indigenous Peoples and the Rights of Mother Earth.  Active in the global Climate Justice grassroots movement, Marina traveled to Peru in 2010, to obtain research for her thesis on the lack of legal protection for environmental refugees and climate displaced persons.  This journey led her to Kusi Kawsay.  She was inspired by the project, the community and their way of life, which led her to travel back to the Sacred Valley several times.  In 2014, Marina joined Pachamama's Path as the Development Lead to Kusi Kawsay.  Marina now spends her time living and working between the Sacred Valley and her native home of Greece. She loves languages, cooking, making art, reading, hiking, learning, music, nature and on it goes...
